Shake Off Winter the Right Way: How to Get the Most Out of Cabin Fever

Christmas has passed, and the winter lull is in full swing—but the Crystal City brings the heat and community spirit in late February. On February 20, Corning’s Gaffer District and the Corning Museum of Glass turn a night downtown into a full experience. Here’s how to make the most of it.

Cabin Fever check-in begins at 4:00 PM, giving you a full hour of shopping from 4:00–5:00 PM before tastings begin. This is the perfect time to pick up your tasting glass, have your ID checked, and grab something local you’ve been eyeing.

Make It a Full Night in Corning

While you’re in town, take a trip over to the Corning Museum of Glass to help celebrate their 75th Anniversary. The member-only celebration runs from 6:00–7:00 PM, followed by the public event from 7:00–9:00 PM. Shuttles will run throughout the evening from Cabin Fever check-in locations to CMoG to ensure safe and easy travel after tastings.
